And Marketing is thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted for the prestigious East Riding of Yorkshire Council Chairman’s Awards.
The Chairman’s Awards serve to recognise individuals, businesses, or organisations operating within the East Riding of Yorkshire for their exceptional dedication to the community and their substantial positive impact on its social well-being.
And Marketing is a finalist in the Business category, which specifically honours enterprises that have played a key role in the area’s economic prosperity.
East Riding of Yorkshire Chairman's Awards
The Awards will be held at Beverley’s Champney Treasure House on Tuesday 13 May, and will be presented by the Chairman of the Council Linda Bayram together with Clare Frisby from BBC Look North.
Supporting our local community
At And Marketing, we do our best to go above and beyond – not only with our clients and our marketing results for them, but also in making a positive impact on the local community. As a microbusiness, we believe we go above and beyond the scope of a business of our size. We feel we are a good example of how one person who cares about supporting their local community can make a difference.
From working pro bono for A Shining Light and Howden Scouts to actively promoting local tourism with our recent projects, and recognising that we have a responsibility to the environment beyond legal and regulatory requirements… we really do try our best to be the most conscientious enterprise we can be.
However, this award isn’t just about us – it’s about the community we are privileged to serve. If you follow us on social media, you will have seen how proud we are of our local community and the exciting local opportunities and events we share. We’d like to acknowledge the support we’ve had from our clients, suppliers and other members of our community who have helped us be the business we are today.
A Shining Light
We’d also like to mention another finalist as we’re so proud to see Ryan Gardiner from A Shining Light shortlisted in the Individual Community Award category. We work closely with Ryan and know that this nomination was very well deserved. He will have just run the London Marathon for the charity when the awards come around!
See you in May!
We’re incredibly honoured and grateful to have been recognised as a finalist at these awards and we look forward to meeting the other finalists at next month’s event. Wish us luck!
